LIVE IN THE BOWLEGS STUDIO – ECSTATIC DANCER
Different Blades From The Same Pair Of Scissors
We have made a running track entitled ‘Different Blades From The Same Pair Of Scissors’. This one-off extended track is available via our own label Strange Tongues as of the 22nd August.
Here is an edit from the track to download for free
You can buy the complete running track here:

We recorded the track originally in 2008 as commissioned for Nike’s running series.
‘Clocking in at 37 minutes, ‘Different Blades…’ showcases Fujiya & Miyagi at peak musical fitness, giving their fans and newcomers the chance to work out to kraut-fuelled electronic funk soundtrack. The piece warms up gradually, accompanying the most musically discerning through a short run or an aerobic workout, culminating in what could be an ambitious set of push ups or stomach crunches as one of the band counts up to 100 and more.’
F&M ON JAZZ FM
David and Matthew were guests on last night’s Kids on Bridges Take Over show on Jazz FM, playing some of their favourite music. If you missed it you can listen again here.
